Welcome to abroad Dr. Mezyad Alterkawi

Global Engagement Office (GEO) is the gateway of King Saud University (KSU) to the world. GEO is involved in developing a coherent strategy to promote KSU’s international relations, global profile and international competitiveness. The department is responsible for building scientific and technological cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions around the world. It promotes KSU globally to enhance relations and develop partnerships for scientific research between KSU and international institutions.

We no longer just be depending on pure teaching and academia but rather research and not just standard research that can be published and put on the shelf. Incubators have come into effect to eliminate placing results of research to be placed on the shelves and making them cooked. Incubators are like kitchens of ideas and those with those who have these ideas, we call them inventors.

For this reason, GEO is headed by Dr. Mezyad Alterkawi, who has vast experience in International Collaborations and was previously involved in several worldwide partnerships on behalf of KSU. He leads a team of professionals who have years of experience working in their respective fields of expertise all contributing towards realizing KSU’s dream of international leadership.
